SOCIAL COMPUTING RESEARCHER
I am a PhD candidate at the College of Computing and Informatics at Drexel University (member of the iSchools) where I work with Dr. Andrea Forte. Employing mixed methods, I examine the ways in which social computing systems can be designed to allow people to disclose stigmatized experiences and seek and provide support in their online social networks.
Research interests: online identity, emotional disclosure, self-disclosure, stigma, privacy, major life events, social support, psychological well-being, photo-sharing, vulnerable populations, participatory information sources
